i dont have the money to get car insurance before i take my driving test. is there anyways possible to get around that? dont just fucking say, “get insurance either”. its a waste of my damn time. im taking it wednesday and its in urbana ohio.

In general, insurance follows the car not the driver. If you are at fault for the accident, the owner of the car will be liable for the damage. Your insurance company will not be alerted to the accident unless:

1: you are charged with fault for accident by the police
2: bad luck – you have the same insurance.

I know several people that have multiple DUIs. The strange thing about this is that they all pay a fraction of what I do for car insurance. I have a car that is almost 20 years old and I pay just liability. My payments are higher than my friend who drives a 2007 Honda with full bumper to bumper coverage. I have two accidents on my record right now. But are accidents weighed heavier than DUIs in the eyes of insurance companies? Its quit frustrating

If you are obtaining your first Wisconsin driver license, your license has expired or you need a replacement license you will need to visit any DMV Service Center, except renewal-only offices and complete form MV3001 PDF (1.6 MB) – Wisconsin Driver License (DL)/Identification Card (ID) Application and:

* Provide proof of identity.
* Provide proof of name and date of birth (not needed for a replacement license).
* Provide documentary proof that you are a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent or conditional resident or temporary visitor.
* Pay the reinstatement fee plus a renewal fee, if needed.
* Bring a parent or legal guardian to sign as a sponsor for your license if you are under 18.
