Question by Max: What will happen if i dont pay my car insurance this month?
I am a student and find it financially. I recently had to get my car repaired so I now do not have enough money to pay my insurance this month (£192.10) I was thinking of asking if I can skip this month and request double payment this month?
What are the consquences of not paying the insurance for a month. My friend believes it can damage the policy and they may ask for the full ammount?

What car do you drive? For a student having to pay 192 euro’s a month is rediculous…I hope your driving a 2008+ BMW or related brand. I have a 2010 audi r8 and my insurance rate a month is about 180 american.
Also if you call in and explain your situation they will permit you to pay double the next month no problems. You just need to call your insurance provider.

If you are late on cable bills and/or car insurance bills, does that go towards a bad credit history?

Only if it’s so late that they turn your account over to a collection company, then it gets reported otherwise these types of accounts do not show up on credit reports.
Same with cell phones, utility bills, gym memberships and magazine subscriptions.

I was in a car accident about a month ago and I gave my insurance to him but we never called the cops. If I ignore him and he files a insurance claim will my insurance pay him? police report is irrelevant in some states like in CA you call the cops for a regular traffic accident and they almost hang up on you when you tell them why you’re calling if you are at fault your ins will pay and your rates will go up
