I am looking into getting car insurance but unfortunately I made a very poor choice last year and got a DUI. I am trying to figure out what company would be the least expensive to go with. Also I am a 26 year old college student if that helps. Thanks for any help.

when you use these online multiple quotes websites, you can set yourself up for getting on a whole bunch of mailing lists for spam, boiler room phone calls to your home phone trying to sell all kinds of junk, and a bunck of junk mail offers. your best rates, are going to be with a local agent. there is no cheap insurance for you. us ually you have to do an sr22 this is an electronic letter to the dmv paid for by you every month from the ins agent to the dmv about insurance status, the fee is in addition to your insurance , you will be considered a high risk due to the dui, and your insurance will be anything but cheap for the next three years, sorry. I know its tough, and the judge is going to drop the hammer on you, but you can do this, so hang in there hold your head up and never give up.
